The first pre-delegation within the scope of TEM was organized between the dates of March 1-7, 2020, in Kiev/Ukraine and Tashkent/Uzbekistan with the participation of our Member of Board, Mr.Zafer ARABUL.
In both countries, various meetings were conducted with Turkish Ambassadors, significant electiric utilities, sector-related govermental agencies and establishments, such as MINENERGO, UKRENERGO, National Electric Grids of Uzbekistan, etc. The aims of this delegation were to introduce our Project to local organizations, to discuss about our upcoming delegation, to discover the cooperation oppurtunities and to determine the potential of our sector in both countries.
As a result of these meetings a lot of valuable information was obtained in regards to the standards, the certification processes, the issues related with logistics, to rates of customs duties, the opportunities of investment available in both countries.
Hotel visits were also made to see if their meeting rooms are suitable for our B2B meetings and if the hotels are good enough for our accomodation standarts. In addition, predetermined consultancy and B2B matchmaking companies were informed face to face about our organization and Project. Our expectations related to the delegation, B2B meetings and sectoral visits were passed on to the representatives.
